It's a song which grows and grows as you hear it. ----- The album sits at 100 in Rolling Stone\s All-time top 500 yet I'll never grasp why Zombies classic 'Beechwood Park' never features in the school, nay. rather than the anthem, it's left unmentioned. ================== "Zombies bassist Chris White wrote this song. In The Guardian (February 22, 2008), he explained: "Beechwood Park is a real place. My father owned a general store in Hertfordshire and he used to deliver to a private girls' school called Beechwood Park.
