At the time of this photograph this was St Micheal's parochial hall on the corner of James Andrew St & Oldham Rd , (youth club and 2nd Middleton scouts met here) . It had been converted from the OLD Holy Innocents' mission church in 1921 (the old church was built as a second hand iron church built in 1888) , ( from Mid Guardian articles and a former scout) . The Holy Innocents church pinned on Kenyon Lane had only just been built , in 1925 . '
