Trolleybus at the Wangey Road terminus. Easternmost point of the system, although authority had been given to tramway promotors to extend to Romford but not built. Unlike the trams which had terminated at station Road a turning circle was constructed to run down Station Road, turning into Wangey Road and back into High Road. The first service here was route 693 - Barking, commencing on 6th February 1938 followed by the short lived route 692 - Newbury Park (Horns), which ran on Saturdays for a few months between 12 February and 3rd December 1938. Later route 695 - Bow Depot, ran from 29th October 1941. Another route the 663 - Aldgate, extended from Ilford, commenced on 7th January 1959 replacing route 695 which was discontinued the day before on the 6th. The 663 and 693 then ran a further eight months until the 18th August 1959 when they were replaced by diesel buses.
