Double-ended, specially adapted Q Stock car near the Bollo Lane over-bridge on the Acton Town - South Acton shuttle service. One of two units specially constructed to operate this shuttle service. As can be seen, the spur was once double tracked, probably when there was a full service to Hounslow Barracks and South Harrow. In 1932 the service was reduced to a single line shuttle to and from Acton Town. This service was discontinued in 1959 due to low passenger usage and the spur line was lifted and the Bollo Lane bridge dismantled. '
