' Muswell Hill terminus of the Metropolitan Tramways. This was one of two branches to Alexandra Palace and ran from The Wellington Public House Green Lanes, along Turnpike Lane and Priory Road to terminate outside the Victoria Hotel. Opened on 6th december 1905. There was a double track tramway that continued up to the Palace of which 467 yards were on a private right of way and also included a gradient of 1 in 12. As this section was cosidered Light railway only the specially built single deck cars were allowed to run on it. Despite there being two routes to the Palace both returned poor receipts. '
