Saint Mary Matfelon Church which was destroyed during The Blitz in 1940. The ruins were finally demolished in 1952 and the site of the church was known as "St Mary's Park" until it was renamed "Altab Ali Park" in 1998. The outline of the footprint of the church is all that remains of it. '
