St Lawrence Mission Church (Anglican) in the Parish of St Peter, Harton erected in 1939 and consecrated two years later. The building had previously served as the chapel of Bede College, Durham, before being moved. It subsequently became simply St Lawrence Church, Harton and, following rebuilding, became the Parish Church of St Lawrence the Martyr, Horsley Hill. '
