' The aircraft was in the vicinity of Rhiw-bebyll Farm - 53 10' 56"N 003 18' 40"W probably tracking 130T having avoided the North Wales Sanitorium at Llangwyfan (to the north of his position) and looking up a bearing of 040T photographed the valley leading up to one of the few passes over the Clwydian Hills. At least I hope he avoided the sanatorium and did not disturb the patients! This ties in with the next photo he took which was looking up the next valley to the Hill Fort on Moel Arthur - WAW010474. The field pattern on the port side of the aircraft still exists - see photo - and the second field boundary in, points down to a small white cottage which is still there today. '
