' These huts are now the Belmont Community Hall. Its appearance is similar to a British Restaurant structure. These were community restaurants constructed during WW2 and very often managed by the Women's Voluntary Service. The smaller hut would have been the catering area and the larger hut (nearest to Kenton Lane) would have been the dining area. Many of these buildings found other uses after the war. '
