' MEMORIAL COLLONADE, dedicated to the BIRMINGHAM INTERNATIONAL BRIGADE, dismantled when the ICC was built and reconstructed at the PEACE GARDEN in the grounds of the remnants of ST. THOMAS'S CHURCH. The church was damaged by WWII bombs leaving only the entrance portico and the steeple standing and remains the last evidence of Birmingham Blitz damage. '
