' Records show this to be the Willesden District Synagogue from 1934 until 1939, Bartholomew street maps of the time show it on the corner of College Road and Herbert Gardens. In 1939 they moved to the Current Synagogue on Brondesbury Park. .At the time of writing in August 2017, a bar called "the Island" on the Corner site . '
