' The so-called Horse Ring. This was the show ring for the Royal Agricultural Society Showgrounds, opened 1903 as a permanent venue for the annual show which had previously toured the country, an expensive business. After three poorly attended shows (1903-4-5) the society decided it had made a mistake, gave up its 550 year lease, and resumed touring the country. QPR moved here from Kensal Rise in August 1904, but moved a few hundred yards south in 1907. '
