' An interesting way of modifying the track plan. To lift part of an unwanted point, remove it to one side (the right), stacking it on the disused track and laying the new curve track through the gap created. This is one up from laying the new over the old without removal, but this requires an up and over hump. The removed points link to a disused, over-grown siding to the right of the picture, suggesting changes in accessing the scrap yard from the main line. '
