' this area will be cleared and made into the commons car park. a bridge will span the welland river off the lower spur road on walcot rd to allow access/exit till the removal of this vehicular exit and a foot bridge put in too take it's place in the late 80s, a new exit/entrance will be located at the site of the old cherry tree pub which will be demolished in the 1970s to develop land to the rear and retail/commercial buildings will be built. '
