Yarrow’s had the presence of mind to enclose their fitting out basin so that construction could continue without interruption during Glasgow’s inclement weather. Because they specialized in building smaller narrow vessels such as destroyers and frigates, Yarrow’s did not require a particularly large fitting out basin and so it was easier to enclose. In this scene, two destroyers are being completed. '
