'Collingwood', now 15, Collingwood Road, Shanklin. Built 1926/7. Has been my home since January 2008. It, and the one to the left, yet to be built in the picture, are the last houses left in the block. There was bomb damage in 1943 and the Bus Station was built there after the war. This was closed in 1985 and Gateway built a Supermarket there in the following year. They wanted the whole site, but the then owner of the two houses held-out for more money than they were willing to pay, so the two remain. It's very handy as I'm right next door to what is now the Co-op. '
