' One of the very few known views of Tewkesbury's original railway station dating from 1839. It was built and operated by the Birmingham and Gloucester Railway and closed to passengers in 1865 when the new station opened on the edge of town. The gothic stone frontage was on the High Street (seen here) with an overall trainshed visible beyond. '
