1D Devons Road Motive Power Depot Coaling Tower.The depot was the first to be converted from a steam to a mainline diesel depot opening in August 1958 when the last steam locomotive left.It then closed in February 1964 when the workings and staff were transfered away to other depots etc and the buildings/yard etc were left in disuse for many years.
