York Street running from the River Medlock to Rusholme Road at this time 1927. BBC building, Mancunian Way, etc. built across it during the slum clearances and redevelopments in the early to late 1960's. BBC building demolished in 2013. Two small sections of York St. remain at the Charles street end (north) and south side of Grosvenor Street. '
