St Peter's Church. A church dedicated to St Peter was mentioned in Doomsday. The church was completely rebuilt between 1789-91 and further alterations made during 19thC. No longer usd for religious worship it is under the care of Thetford Town Council whose offices and chambers are in the adjacent King's House. '
