This is where my parent's House would be built in 1933 - "Memel", 11 Marlborough Road. - where I grew up. And by 1939 this garden suburb development had gone all the way to the RHS of the image, in line with the Eastern edge of the Southchurch Park, a new road which would be named Lifstan Way. '
