The original Plough pub before rebuilding in 1938. The adjoining stables probably belong to the pub as it was an inn from the mid 18th century and one of the oldest buildings in what was, until the '20s and '30s, a very rural area.
It was on a route from Harrow to the Edgware Road (The Hyde) and London.
