' Ardor House on the corner of Dame Alice Street & The Ardor House on the corner of Dame Alice Street & The Broadway. This was the Gas Board Showroom (now a jewellers), but during WW2 the offices above were used to train code-breakers for Bletchley Park, working on Japanese encoded messages. It became known as "The Spy School". The attached photo was taken on the 2nd March 2015. '
