Newall Green Farm (formerly Newhall Green). This is the only remaining historic building still standing in Newall Green, It has been unoccupied for some years and, like a number of other historic buildings in Wythenshawe in the past, is steadily deteriorating (2012) as a result of vandalism and decay. On this occasion, the cause seems to be planning wrangles between the developer and the local authority.

It is currently (12 November 2014) being repaired and re-roofed after a fire. There are plans to use it as a community farm and suchlike.

Glad to hear that it isn't completely doomed. I thought it looked set to share the fate of Peel Hall fifty years or so ago, which suffered the same problems and ended up being demolished. There are so few of the landmark buildings of old Wythenshawe left.

Knob Hall. Humorously named from the round balls which decorated the corners of the house. It was demolished for housing development and a small close of elderly people's bungalows presently stand on the site. The history is preserved in the name: "Knob Hall Gardens"; and one of the original "knobs" is preserved at the entrance, beside the sign.
