A row of small offices/shops for coal and building supplies merchants who had their stock in the goods yard behind. There were also a few other shops.

In the 1930's these buildings were used by the University College of Wales Agricultural Departments, including Agriculture, Agricultural Chemistry, Agricultural Botany and the offices of the Welsh Plant Breeding Station. I understood that the buildings previously belonged to Green's Foundry.

Alexandra Road Board School. The entrance on the Alexandra Road frontage was to the infants section. The girls entrance was on the wing next to the station and the boys' on Park Avenue. The girls' and boys' yards were separated by a wall but the infants seemed to be part of the girls' yard.
