Tank farm at Llandarcy Oil Refinery. To my mind it looks like a giant game of draughts.

When I lived with relatives in Ty Draw during the early 1950s, I had a wonderful unobstructed view of that area. I believe it was once known as The National Oil refinery. A number of cooling towers and vertical flare stacks with flames permanently coming out the top were also there. At night, the flares and bright lights surrounding the site made it all look like a futuristic space station to a young child. Even though the site closed decades ago, Google Maps still show the scars left on the ground from the demolished structures of the refinery.
