Criggion Radio Station - http://www.oswestry-history.co.uk/criggion-radio-station.html - thanks to S.F. Brown. MBE. C.Eng. MIEE. Set up as a back up to Rugby during the war in the shadow of Breiden Hill. The quarry can be seen in the background. Also flood damage to the Radio site - one of the pyloms has lost its battle with the Severn. |
