According to the 1881 census this house was occupied by a surgeon and a nurse, I believe it was the first hospital.

Burngreen Bandstand...built in honour of the wonderful people of Croy, a village that Kilsyth could never emulate, merely copy. On Halloween each year, and still to this day, townsfolk sacrifice a goat to bring them good luck....that's a lot of dead goats, and nae luck.
