Yes, this image actually shows the Renfrew shipyard of Lobnitz & Co Ltd. (and should be re-titled thus), with the western extremity of their immediate upriver neighbour, William Simons & Co Ltd., just in view to the right, with the larger crane. The two yards merged in 1959. Shipbuilding ended there in 1964.

Second attempt to attach pic - first maybe exceeding capacity.

A better view of the dividing wall, taken in 1936, appears in Image Ref SPW050839. Extract from this image is 'attached'.

Think we are looking at two shipyards here. If I have them the right way round (I have checked with my shipbuilding books) then Lobnitz yard is on the left and Wm Simons on the right. They did merge - in the 1950s? The dividing line was maybe the wall running diagonally from the much-windowed offices bottom right. Before the merger they sometime were building sister ships and there are stories (apocryphal?) of cranes 'leaning' across the wall to pinch bits and pieces from the neighbouring yard when it was closed say at the weekend.
