The building in the middle picture is Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum (not simply Art Gallery)with the bowling greens to the immediate right (since used in the Commonwealth Games 2014) whilst the other substantial building slightly to the right & futher in the distance is the main building of Glasgow University. The streets in the fore are some of those comprising Yorkhill, those in the far distance, beyond the University, are Hillhead (nestled amongst those is the Hillhead High School building). Running in the 'treed' area between Kelvingrove AG & M and the University building is the River Kelvin.
