Can't remember what they called this shop but I know it used to be a sweet shop. Used to get my fruit and nut chocolate bar from here on my way to Rashcliffe school.

Sorry, but the Methodist Church was on Bentley Street (closed a long time ago). This pin marks Lockwood Baptist Church (still there), which I attended in my teens and did most of my organ practice there.

Woodhead Road School. I went to this school. Would have been about 1959. It soon closed down and I was transferred to another school in Lockwood.

White Lion Pub. It was called this in 1959 and still called this when we left Lockwood in 1965. I believe the name as been changed several times since. I lived to the left of the White Lion on Laithcroft. Its a shame my house is not on the photo. It just falls short unfortunately. Hope there is more photos to come.
