Just out of sight to the south of this shot lies the sharpness and Gloucester canal. Spent 3 months in the winter of 63, aboard the national sea training schools ship, the T.S.Vindicatrix. Berthed in the canal. Closed in 1966. Us ex "Vindy Boys" meet up every August for a 3 day Re-union. |
