The match was the 18th official Army Navy match and the 10th played at Twickenham. The Army beat the Royal 17-11. The Royal Navy scored tries through St. Clair Ford, Stephenson and Carhill. Forrest managed one conversion. The Army's tries were from Novis (2), Aslett (Captain), Townsend and Wainwright. Novis also added one conversion. The crowd was approximately 15,000
