The first location in the area to become gentrified, it started in the mid 1960s. People who had lived there for many years with low controlled rents were offered large sums of money to move out. I used to park my car there and walk to Kennington underground station. Could not do that now! |

Think this is Cleaver sq Kennington the church tower mentioned is possibly Kennington tube station |
