Bushey Manor School 1946 Boy third from the left in the second row from the front is Alan Taylor. Boy at the right end of the second row from the back is Michael Pope. Third row from the front, 4th on the right, with the pigtails Diane Corrie. Next to Diane, Norma Dredge.

22-28 Belmont Road, two sets of semi detached houses built by same builder in 1927. James Close plots behind to south, hoses built later.

Corner Shop on Junct. Field Rd / Lower Paddock Rd Oxhey. Ran by my school chum's [Martin Rand] parents in the 60s to early 70s. This picture is earlier. Challoner's the News/Con/Tob was on the opposite corner. Challoner's was the place to go every revolting kind of kiddy-sweets we loved. You know the kind of thing... penny chews, sherbet-dabs etc.

My teachers at Oxhey Infants Mrs Richardson, Miss Davison and Miss McLaughlin and Mrs Woodrow. Head was Miss Dyball.

At Bushey Manor Head Ted Ruffett, Mrs Allaker, Mrs Wolfe, Mr Davison and Mr White.

Bushey Manor - were Miss Joseph, Mrs Wolfe, Miss Bowles & Mr Davi(d)son and Mr White. Ruffett was head. And 'Ms' was not invented. 'Mrs' or 'Miss', all were 'Miss' to us!
