This is No 149 Waterworks Road. This was the home of Everson Christopher Lovett bn (In Costessey Nfk) 1867 died 1957 and His Wife Martha Maria nee Franklin bn (In Norwich) 1866 died 1951. ECL probably built this house in the early 1920s as also many of the other homes in this part of Waterworks Road, This house was attacked and damaged in Enemy German air raids during WWII but it was repaired later. Both ECL & MML survived because they were sleeping in the Kitchen beneath the Morrison air raid shelter, they had to be dug out the early the next morning from the rubble which trapped them in the Shelter

my gran and all her siblings were baptised and married here. Her dad was also on the memorial for WW1, unfortunately the memorial was lost when St Barts was damaged during WW2.
