This appears to be the Mountain Caterpillar (1925) and the Scenic railway (1922). Both rides were removed in the 1940's and were combined and relocated to Battersea to become the ill fated Big Dipper. In 1972 5 children were killed and 13 injured when the lift hill chain snapped and the car travelled backwards to crash at the bottom. This led to the design of the anti rollback on lift hills which is the clicking sound you hear when travelling up.
