British Celanese Limited. The company manufactured Cellulose Acetate based chemicals, fibres and films/plastics. They also processed the fibres on site to finished garments stage for retail. They did not produce synthetic fibres until the 1960's when they started production of nylon6 'Celon' yarn. Cellulose Acetate fibre was classified as 'cellulosic' fibres along with viscose and Cuprammonium. The U S used the generic name of Rayon.
