Two routes terminated here: 685 - Canning Town and North Woolwich (17 January 1937 - 2 February 1960); 687 - Victoria & Albert Docks (6 June 1936 - 2 April 1960). The 687 originally ran from Chingford Mount but was cut back to The Crooked Billet from 11June 1939. Then from 1 April 1942 the route was changed to run down Church road, Markhouse Road and Blackhorse Road rather than Hoe Street and Leyton High Road. |
