The lift to take a wagon and the horse pulling it down to the vaults under the station. These vaults were built to accommodate beer barrels, beer from Burton-on-Trent.

This is the Regent Cinema, later called the Century. Erected in 1900 as the Euston Theatre of Varieties. This photo shows how the frontage aligns with Euston Road but the rest of the building lines up with the angle of Tonbridge St. On Flickr there are some street-level photos of the front side. Look for the set "King's Cross in the 1950's".
