 The USAFE had a stores depot here in the 1950's. The flag indicates the site of the Motor Pool, a rodeo for staff car drivers was held yearly to test their skills, the uniform they wore resembled that used by American Football referees. I remember going to an open day where we kids could eat as much ice cream as we could consume, happy days. |
