Standing stone on the West Kennet Avenue. There were originally as many as 100 pairs of standing stones, marking a corridor about a mile and a half 92.3km) long. It ran out to a site known as The Sanctuary, its stones largely destroyed in 1724, but already in ruins when Stukeley sketched it in July 1723 '
