' Skew Bridge. The white objects seen in the mouth of the bridge were wartime concrete barricades filled with concrete, they also had a steel girder set into them which spanned the small gap in the river or dyke. The bridge also made a great echo chamber and was a play area for local Boultham children.Unfortunately the bridge was demolished and the raised railway embankment removed around the time of the new Tritton Road development scheme.
