' Mrs Howard Memorial Hall 1905-6 by B Parker and R Unwin. The first public building in the Garden City, and built as a memorial to Ebenezer Howard's first wife. Extended to the north-east by an L-shaped wing in 1907. The extendable classroom/clubroom with its diagonally set platform is an early example of multi-use space in a public building. '
