The site of the Aldrington Estate office next to Iver Lodge, Portland Road, now part of the car park of Portslade Station. The Aldrington estate had fallen into the hands of the Duke of Portland in the late 19th century, during a period of property speculation when plots of land were being sold to developers. It was still there in 1912, but was gone the next year. '
