This is a siding that ran from the GWR mainline to the Aladdin factory. It was probably used to transport materials during the construction of the factory and later to service goods traffic to and from the factory and the other industrial premises that would soon be constructed alongside Long Drive.
Short sections of the track still remain within the Long Drive part of the site in the Kelvin Industrial Estate. '
