You can just imagine the revellry at this point with hoards of coaches pulling-in for a comfort stop on the way down to Southend. As a youngster in the late 50's I can recall family trips from Walthamstow on either Henry's Coaches(Broad Lane where Tesco is now) or the Horseshoe company ones also from Tottenham. They always seemed to be overtaken by the Grey-Green drivers, or the faster Orange Luxury ones. |
