Harbour Rail Swing Bridge.
The Harbour Swing Bridge is powered by a Bruce Peebles 440 Volts 50 Hz 3 Phase 8 pole 750 RPM induction motor through a gear train.
There is trapdoor between the rail tracks which can be lifted by a mobile crane, although it is possible to remove it through a side door in the body of the bridge. |
