Here, you can just make out the Austin sign which was on a brick-built tower supporting a water tank, and which was part of the original White & Pike printing works taken over by Herbert Austin when he started his motor company in 1905.

Longbridge water pumping station, which despite its wonderful architecture which wouldn't have looked out of place as a church, was demolished without hardly a second thought in the 1970s.
