On the ground floor of this block was numbers 2 & 4 Cuthbert St which was the Relief Office. This was where the unemployed would get a bit help with money to feed their families. My grandparents lived above the office. |

When I was a child in the late 40s & through the 50s this land had returned to nature with rough grassy areas & weeds & was known locally as 'Tennants Field' |
